Ruta Uday Ajgaonkar has spent over 37 years with the Life Insurance Corporation of India, holding senior managerial, marketing, and legal positions across some of the organisation's most demanding divisions.

Trained as a lawyer and a manager, she began her career representing LIC before High Courts, Civil Courts, and Consumer Forums — and went on to lead divisions, pioneer as the first woman Branch Manager of her branch, and build distribution across urban, semi-urban, and rural India.

Today she channels that experience into MAARK Advisory and Insurance Marketing Firm LLP — a compliance-first, advisory-led venture built to widen insurance protection for SMEs, institutions, and organised communities.
